Lawson Aschenbach is a seven-time professional sports car racing champion and winner of over 35 professional races. His story began with karting at the young age of 8 and he proceeded to win State, National, North American, and four Grand National Championships.
After a successful stint in open wheel competition, Lawson began his foray into sports car racing, finishing on the podium in his first professional race. He backed that up by winning the 2006 SPEED World Challenge GT Championship in his rookie year.
Lawson decided to take a sabbatical from racing at the end of the 2020 season and currently works full time on various business interests in the automotive, jewelry, and boat spaces. His passion for motorsports continues to this day, and he will step back in the seat when the time is right.
Lawson battles Crohn's Disease after a diagnosis in 2012. He utilizes functional medicine daily to combat the disease and educate others. Read more about his journey.
